About the Book
As a direct and comprehensive response to our nation’s current social and political climate concerning the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) issue, “A Perfect Union” book was written. The author (along with most American citizens and the world) has seen a gradual, yet discernable turning away from the foundational principles of America’s particular democratic way of life. The subject is politically punctual and the content enlightening and unquestionably discussion-worthy. Those who have read the book have found it to be unique in its civic sensibility and way of clarifying the magnitude and urgency of this issue to the general public. This work is an offering – a profound glimpse into many Americans’ souls who do not know how to express their thoughts and concerns about this matter without offending others.
The goal of this book is to logically dissect the issue to get a clear understanding from a common sense perspective. It was not written to “bash” the LGBT community and is clear that we should treat the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) community with respect. However, the American people deserve truth, equity, and resolve concerning this issue. In that same vein and in fairness to the American public, the African-American community and the LGBT community, thriving misinformation of presumed similarities between the historical experiences of the African-American people and the LGBT experience is risky, at best, and are brought to light.
In essence, "A Perfect Union" is a diamond mine of American's cumulative thoughts and ideas about the LGBT community. It was designed:
- as a common sense voice of reason on behalf of the American public;
- to engage our nation in a healthy debate about a possible, future civilization where the LGBT community will live in a permanently, infused union with American society;
- as a declaration that the American citizens have a right to know (conclusively, scientifically and civically) if the LGBT are born homosexual or whether they have chosen their sexual behavior;
- to facilitate breaking the chains of political correctness (PC) and the stronghold of special interest groups that would silence our united voice to discover truth;
- featuring imperative Discussion Points for the pending The United National Conversation, which are the current collective thoughts, questions, and concerns of most Americans; and
- as “the people’s” request of a moratorium on all LGBT legislation giving our country time to understand and develop compromises and/or remedies before instituting irreversible changes to our social structure.
The book sheds light on how the American culture is unique among all other nations, past and present, due to her government and way of life founded upon Christian beliefs. It chronicles historical documents, facts, and perspectives about the unique history of the uniqueness of the United States Constitution, Declaration of Independence, and Bill of Rights, which were agreed upon by our founding fathers based upon their faith in the God of the Judeo-Christian bible.
Since the premise and promise of our democratic system is fairness, liberty, and justice for all, the LGBT community and opponents to their sexual behavior should all agree this democratic course is reasonable and fair. Presumably, almost everyone desires an even playing field because they have experienced the pain of injustice and/or knows there are a great many injustices in this world. But we must consider the implementation of justice is good and right unless its frame of reference is flawed or missing pertinent information.
Thereby, “A Perfect Union” offers fresh, straightforward and comprehensive thoughts and information to help equip America for her impending journey toward truth, justice and the American way...democracy.
Religious History and Prevailing Ideologies
Although the LGBT sexual behavior has historically been a social and political battleground, many American views about homosexuality and the Christian religion have undergone vast changes since the inception of the Constitution. For example, the Christian Reformed Church (CRC) believes LGBT individuals can be “Christian homosexuals” as long as they follow Christian faith protocols. Whereas in the past (through church doctrine and theology) clergy believed because of prohibitive bible scriptures in the Old Testament (and some in the New Testament) accepting the LGBT community as “Christians” at all would cause disorder in the church and be disability for the Christian faith. Increasing numbers from the church community have journeyed 180 degrees to embrace the gay community under the banner of “unity, diversity, tolerance, and inclusiveness.”
The foremost promoter of this ideology is our current President. In more than one Barack Obama speech, these terms are used to encourage the American people to embrace homosexuals and their sexual practices. Admittedly, on the surface, this phrase sounds good and fair. Still, conservative Christians focus on “What does the bible says about homosexuality?”and "Are LGBT truly “born that way,” and “Is there a gay gene or DNA?” while secular America wants to know whether this feel-good rhetoric will help eradicate the stigma and epidemic of HIVAIDS, which is now found in all segments of America but primarily ravaging the homosexual community, the African-American community, and pockets of the Latino community in our country. The question of the day is how will it impact the current Healthcare Reform?

The conviction of Conservatives is that throughout American history (particularly in the church) homosexuality has always been considered incompatible with our particular organized society. It is not the person committing these acts society rejects, per se, – it is the sanctioning and promotion of anal sex coupled with the threat of mankind's decreased existence on earth as the numbers of homosexuals increase. Looking at this aspect of the homosexual lifestyle from a peripheral viewpoint renders this act as benign. However, by inspecting it from an inside-out viewpoint, the detrimental, long-term affects on our society becomes quite clear. In fact, you will be hard pressed to assemble a panel of legitimate and honest medical doctors who will tell the nation that anal intercourse is a natural and healthy way of expressing human love.
Liberal Americans are baffled at what they deem as homophobia and prejudicial intolerance concerning legalized gay marriage and gay adoption. They believe their personhood is under judgmental attack and are offended that anyone would presume they are unfit to participate in any capacity they choose in this supposedly free country. Although opponents of the same-sex marriage bill say the issue should be decided by voters in a referendum rather than by lawmakers, they believe marriage should be solely a union between a man and a woman. They also believe gay couples have ample rights under the civil union law. Whereas, many have pondered whether the “gay rights” demands (from the alliance of our American government officials and the homosexual community) to infuse the homosexual lifestyle into the American way of life is actually good and wholesome for the American people, our children, or society as a whole. Or, will those demands be disabilities to our future causing a ripple affect that could possibly tear our nation into irreparable pieces?
The Reason for the United National Conversation
If a seemingly unstoppable force meets a potentially unmovable object, you get a possible stalemate. That is the kind of philosophic logic in the battle of Conservatives and Liberals over the issue of homosexuality. Experience has taught us “kumbaya” agreements between these groups are sheer fantasy. Instead one side will eventually “win.”
On one side is the seemingly unstoppable force (LGBT community) pressuring our President and legislators to strip America of her historical way of life. They claim they cannot change their sexual behavior (sexual orientation) because they were “born that way.” Although the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) tends to fight for either side if they deem liberties are being trampled, organizations such as Garden State Equality, National Gay & Lesbian Task Force (NGLTF), Gay & Lesbians Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD), Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN), Lambda Legal, and Amnesty International generally uphold the LGBT claims and are considered to be at the forefront of the “homosexual agenda”. Their stated goals are to create acceptance of and permanently integrate the LGBT lifestyle, behaviors, and ideology into American society. To that end, our current administration has firmly announced their goal is to champion the LGBT cause.
On the other side (potentially unmovable object) are usually conservative, often faith-based organizations who believe the LGBT community goals are detrimental to the human species (in every way) and their sexual behavior is morally bankrupt, vulgar and unsanitary. Based on Christian religion (Christian doctrine) most are not completely convinced that the LGBT are born with a predisposition to homosexuality, but have chosen (sexual preference) that sexual behavior and lifestyle. Organizations such as The National Organization for Marriage, Focus on the Family, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and the Roman Catholic Church are against same sex marriage and support the Defense of Marriage Act. Most organizations of this type are in opposition to President Obama repealing “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” and his promotion of the Matthew Shepard Hate Crime Prevention Bill. That includes any additional legislation claiming disenfranchised status for the homosexual community, giving privileges or advantages over other American citizens. To the liberal unstoppables, this group represents rejection, hatred, and refusal to progress.
All Americans must adhere to White House decisions, but the majority’s main struggles have to do with being caught between their LGBT family and friends. This is in contrast to their major concerns about what the LGBT lifestyle will do to our country’s future and their fear of retribution from anyone who might misunderstand their verbalized concerns. This is important because as it stands, constructive, open and honest conversation about the gay rights movement in our society does not have a prayer with the impeding weapon of political correctness (PC) monitoring our every word and action. Unfortunately, this invisible “elephant in the room” strikes fear in the hearts of historically brave Americans.
Nevertheless, the momentum and velocity of the LGBT movement to infuse their sexual behavior into the American way of life is a sensitive and perhaps socially volatile issue. We have nearly arrived at a dangerous turn in direction toward an unknown destination, which fuels the statement “time is of the essence.” There is a specific and urgent need for everyday citizens to fully understand the vast and irreparable changes our country is about to experience, and therefore they must be willing to help our nation through this difficult process by candidly and even-handedly bringing this important issue to light. Otherwise, the strong arm of political correctness will snuff out truth and true democracy.
This is the reason for and importance of The United National Conversation. For this conversation to be affective, we must immediately halt our marriage procession down the isle to what some believe is “A Perfect Union” in order to thoroughly investigate the LGBT claims about their sexual behavior. Then, it is possible and reasonable to plan our future society based strictly upon our findings. The sobering truth is, wrong decisions we make (or neglect to make) will be the seeds sown for the abundant harvest we are certain to reap.
Working Towards United Solutions
(Facilitated by President Barack Obama)
In spite of, and because of the dreaded PC beast, the President and each U.S. Senator have been recently equipped with a common sense approach book entitled "A Perfect Union." We have invited (with an insistent voice of reason) the President to draw on this unique tool to lead the country in a United National Conversation. This American family tête-à-tête would be nationalized, prime-time, televised broadcasts and town hall meetings with the general public, legislators and experts from various fields to openly and honestly discuss the collective thoughts of most. The introduction of the United National Conversation by "A Perfect Union" is a powerful tool to help our nation through our current dilemma and work toward creating a blueprint for a united solution. The initiation and facilitation of this conversation by our President, Barack Obama, will confirm his promise that his administration would be accessible, transparent and fair to all American people.

Public Invitation
Every American citizen is invited to engage in The United National Conversation. The timing and logistics are in the capable hands of the entire nation. Best of all, every attending American gets a dignitary’s seat and equal vote at the bargaining table.
For the sake of our country (especially our children) it is our sincere hope that you will join The United National Conversation to achieve understanding and resolve rather than have our future decided by the team of LGBT special interest groups and Obama administration alliance.
President Obama’s speeches have supported the fact that the American people are intelligent, resourceful, and civic-minded enough to invest in research and fair solutions for this issue through medicine and science. It is only fair that misinformation should be dispelled so the full spectrum of the LGBT lifestyle is made clear, and that information must be openly and honestly discussed to determine the impact upon the future of American society. If our leaders truly seek to make this an equitable country…this course is fair and even to the American people as a whole.
It has been wisely said, if you agree to journey to an unknown, map-less destination,
you will probably end up where someone else wants you to be.

"THE UNITED NATIONAL CONVERSATION"
*Let our President, Barack Obama, know you care about this issue.*
Dear President Obama:
Our nation is at a critical crossroads concerning
the role, influence, and impact of the LGBT sexual behavior on our society
(especially our children)
I believe the American people have the right to know
whether LGBT individuals are born homosexual or have chosen their sexual
behaviors.
As you have supported, I believe the American people
are intelligent, resourceful, and civic-minded enough to invest in research and
fair solutions for this issue through science and medicine.
Until our nation finds workable resolution, I
respectfully request that you, as our President:
- implement a moratorium (an authorized
period of suspended activity) to cease any and all legislation that would
advance the proliferation of the LGBT infusion into main stream society;
- sign and executive order to
immediately remove all materials from circulation relating to the community,
same-sex relationships, and LGBT practices in our public school systems; and
- lead our country (citizens, legislators, and experts
in various fields) in a United National Conversation about this issue by
way of a national, prime-time, televised broadcast.
Our United National Conversation must be open
and honest as we establish the facts and address the majority’s uncertainties
about the influence of the LGBT community’s sexual behavior on our country’s
future (particularly our children).
Our United National Conversation should be
based upon the Discussion Points in the book entitled "A Perfect
Union" (which are the collective thoughts of the American people) so we
can clarify the issue and decide our society’s future based upon the final
democratic vote of the nation.
I, and all American citizens, have the right to
decide and vote on whether the acceptance and infusion of the LGBT community’s
sexual behaviors are healthy and/or right for our nation.
We must remove the taboo of
discussing this issue openly and honestly by refusing to allow political
correctness and special interest groups to hinder our United National
Conversation.
